The Paddle Spear is not a "detachable" spear in the traditional sense. It’s a secure insert that installs into your paddle shaft using an included wrench and locking system. It is removable, but it's designed to stay firmly in place at all times.
The Paddle Spear is compatible with most standard hollow aluminum or carbon fiber SUP or Kayak paddle shafts that are adjustable or removable.
No. The spear is made from high-grade stainless steel with a protective silicone sleeve that prevents corrosion, even in saltwater environments.
This spear is extremely sharp and should be handled with caution. When properly stowed, the paddle spear will not puncture anything.
